I have long been a supporter for some sort of universal ABDL symbol being made. There was a ‘pin’ designed a while back but it was so plain and boring. I truly think that a creative symbol that is not blatently obvious needs to be designed so as to represent the ABDL community. I would love to be able to spearhead this movement but I am definitely go to not only need ideas but also someone who is very experienced in graphic design. I am descent at it (a lot better than the average Joe) but if we are going to do it I think it should be done right. I was thinking about possibly having 2-4 designs made and then hosting a vote on my blog for which everyone thinks is the best one. Obviously, it has to be something people aren’t going to be afraid to wear (i.e. an image of adult in a diaper lol) but it has to represent US as a community as a whole.
It would be awesome to be able to walk down the street and see a t-shirt, pin, hat, etc. with this symbol on it somehow and know what it means. I think it would significantly enhance the community but also interaction and socialization within the community. Let me know what you all think as I really am interested in getting this going!.
I think that’s a great idea. Was just thinking about that myself on the way to the bus a couple hours ago. I don’t have much knowledge of graphic design, but I’ll keep this in mind…something tasteful but meaningful would be perfect.
That’s an old, but good, idea. I think whatever it is it should be highly discreet. Like “I just Down-Loaded”.
Hey, that is a pretty good idea. I consider myself fairly artistic and have started a web-design company (won’t post link, privacy). I think I may be able to help. I could probably be more personal in email.
BTW: Nice simplistic blog layout!
thats a great idea I would buy that. I’d love get an update on this in the next blog
i’d love to help out with that! i always thought the pin was too cheesy and too blatantly obvious too.
since i’m going to school for graphic design so i think i could be of some help 😉
It should look like some mainstream graphic art that no one would guess was anything significant.
Like you did mention there “Was” a previous Diaper Pin, and your intrest is to be admired, but, if it didn’t work the first time It was because of possiblebly NOT getting it to All that are in the community.
Hence your idea of posting it on your blog and having people vote for the best design…. Well, I think you need to find a better place to do this, as I do not think that the majority OR the community in a whole visit your blog enough to get the message out. Good Luck and I will visit often as I do now in hope of seeing your progress…. Love My Cloth Diapers and soft smooth crinkly Plastic Pants 😉
I think this is a great idea as I’ve always wanted to meet others with the same interest but didn’t know where to start.
Has anyone else here experience a decreasing excitement when wearing diapers? It used to be so thrilling for me, especially in public when they are crickly/noticable, but now when I wear them it’s like any other day. I still get a sense of comfort, but the thrill is wearing off. Anybody else have the same experience?
Regarding getting the symbol out to ‘the whole community’, because there aren’t many of us–relative to other such groups, of course–it’d be pretty easy to contact folks on other popular ab/dl sites and spread the word. I can think of a few popular websites which, if contacted, should cover a significant portion of our crowd.
Well I am a professional Artist and use graphic software, I would love to be able to help out if needed. I could draw up some sketches if I had some ideas. Please let me know…

I am a Graphic Designer AND a Sign and T-shirt Maker as a businessman- I will undertake this task and I can make the shirts, caps, whatever…
looking around now for an email. If i cant find one, then go to dailydiapers.com search for my member name – in like a week I will have some artwork up to view
Of course the other side is if the design is too good then it’ll be popular and random people will want to wear it, and even try to find what it means…
Nah, that’s a stretch. And if they tried to find out what it means, how successful would they be? Internet searches use words, not pictures.
There are already some here. I think the design is simple and not obvious. But I would prefer the white in the center to border pink and blue, like the bisexual flag.

I made a draft logo, and a color concept logo.
It is posted on my blog with logo in the title.

I think it should be four small rectangles on a plan background, like the leftover tabs on the front of a diaper. Non-abdl probly wouldn’t be able to make sense of it, but the abdl crowd would most likely recognize it immediately. The colors could be different as well, or not.
