Just got done eating a quick REALLY late lunch! hopefully that will hold me over and give me a boost of energy to get through the rest of my day! I hope everyone is having a good Tuesday! Peter is picking me up from work today and then we are going to the mall just to get out of the house for a while and do something different! Sometimes it is just nice to get out of the house together 🙂

Hi Stacey and Peter,
Our adult changing table is similar in concept. It was designed by my husband Don and built by a local custom cabinet shop. That was before these were offered for sale.
There are some differences. Ours is 30″ wide and 6’6″ long, because we had enough space. The head end has side rails that stop short of the changing zone, but prevent a rol-off accident. Under the table at the head end is a cabinet with double doors so they only swing out 14″ The foot end has a stack of shallow drawers. At the foot end there is a pull-out step so I can climb up when I am on my own. Don can slid it in when he is going to lift me onto the table for my change. The top drawer is just deep enough for a can of powder and bottle of lotion. It has a special slide so it can be pulled out to both sides, so warm wipes and diaper pins are always handy. Yes, the top drawer has an electrical outlet for the wipe warmer.
My youngest sister Missy worked with the maker of the change table shown on that VSI episode. She tells me they are very nice folks and make really good stuff.
For the one you have on this page, you guys could probably build something like that yourselves if you wanted too! You don’t need alot of wood working experience to build something as simple as that! Sure if you look at the images enough you could see how it was built, and see it’s a fairly simple design that you could duplicate, or change up how you see fit. Other option would be to just do down to the hardware store and buy some pre-made cabinets that you like, then get a nice oak board or something cut to size to fit on top of those and make your own!
I cannot see the pic opf the adult change table, I would love to see ti 1
