Thankful that this morning was rather calm and I made it to work on time 🙂 Thank you very much! haha anyways I had a question for you all, if you have what kinds places do you either change yourself or someone else while you are out of your house?
Peter and I are always changing each other when we are out of the house but most of the time we have to end up using the back seat of our car. It is hard to find a family restroom and sometimes when you do the door is locked because they don’t want kids going in there! Back seat of the car usually works fine, it’s a little cramped but it does what is needed. I always make sure to keep a pad in the back so that if things get really messy it doesn’t affect anything! Anyways just wanted to see if anyone had any good ideas that I had not thought of! and you know me, I always want to get a good conversation going!

If I need to change when I am out I always do it in a stall. Never had any problems with that. I could not possibly change in my car as there would be no privacy and it would be far to small. I always change standing up any way.

Stacey, I have been changing myself in public restrooms since I was 12. Back in the old days those were pinned gauze diapers, but since I turned 17 I started wearing disposables. Even at home or in my dorm room I normally change my disposables standing up.
For weekend trips my husband and I do have a van with drapes on the windows. Knowing that is available I often wear pinned gauze diapers on the weekends. The bed in the van has a waterproof mattress cover.
Stacey, I don’t think that any of us have tried changing our diapers anywhere you haven’t. I’d say that 95% of the time I change my diaper when I’m out would be in a bathroom stall. At one point my girlfriend used to change me in the canopied bed of her pickup truck.
