Good morning lovelies!

Hope everyone has some fun plans for the upcoming holiday (my fellow Americans) and everyone else I hope you have something fun planned for the weekend.

I’ve seen some of these “day in the life” posts going around the blogosphere (yes, I’m pretending that’s a word today) so I thought I’d give you all a little glimpse into my world. I’ll give you forewarning, it’s not too exciting but I think that’s what I want to show that even though I live this diapered life it’s not that much different than anyone else!

I’m a few days behind but here is a little view into what my Wednesday was like!

5:00 AM: Alarm goes off. I get up before work to work out each day and even though it’s really hard to get up and get moving it always helps my day!

5:15 AM: Brush my teeth, wash my face, change my diaper, put on my gym clothes, kiss Peter goodbye, and I’m out the door and headed to the gym.

5:45 AM-6:45 AM: A little cardio (30 minutes on the spin bike) and 30 minutes of weights to make up my workout for the day. I always have exactly an hour so I try and make the most of it.

7:00 AM: Get back home, eat some breakfast, shower, get diapered, and dressed for the work day.

8:00 AM: Arrive at work and settle into my desk. I catch up on some emails, listen to voicemails, and then make a cup of coffee to try and get my focused for the day.

9:00 AM: Conference call/team meeting so off to the conference room. I didn’t need to change my diaper prior to going in but I brought a change with me so I can stop by the bathroom afterwards to get a fresh diaper.

10:30 AM: My meeting is FINALLY over and I head off to the bathroom to change my diaper. Take my messy diaper off, wipe down, put some powder in my new diaper, and get dressed again.

10:45 AM-12:30 PM: Work, work, work, and more work. It seems to be one of those days where the work just keeps piling on and I can’t seem to keep up!

12:30 – 1:30 PM: I finally take a break and head out to get some lunch. I try to keep it healthy and go with a grilled chicken salad. Not always the most tasty but when I work out first thing in the morning I find myself wanting to eat well throughout the day. Another perk!

1:30 PM: Come back from lunch and head to the bathroom to change my diaper again. Had to add a little Desitin this time because I went a little too long without changing and my bottom is a little raw.

1:45-3:00 PM: Another meeting (yipee – complete sarcasm) thankfully this one is a little more interesting so the time goes by quickly but all I can think about is the pile of work piled up on my desk.

3:15 – 5:30 PM: Work like a crazy person to feel like I’ve completed enough for the day. I try really hard not to stay late or take my work home with me so Peter and I can enjoy family time in the evening. It isn’t always easy but it’s worth it to me! I answer a few final emails before turning my computer off for the day.

5:45 PM: I take a quick stop again to the bathroom for one last change before I get in the car and head home. I would wait until I get home but I know the traffic could get bad and I don’t want to keep sitting in my wet diaper so go ahead and change myself before leaving for the day.

6:45 PM: Finally home! Peter greats me and thankfully he is an AMAZING cook because otherwise I would probably end up eating a bowl of cereal at night. I just have no energy to cook at the end of a long day!

7:45 PM: These long summer days are wonderful because after dinner Peter and I take our pups out into the backyard to play. They have been cooped up all day and I know they need to run around. There is nothing better than standing outside at the end of a long day in just my diaper and a t-shirt and enjoying the evening with my little family.

9:45 PM: Peter changes me before bed and we both pass out pretty quickly. I’m exhausted and with another 5:00 AM wake up call coming Thursday I know I need my SLEEP!

As you can tell, my days aren’t that different than anyone else. In fact, they are pretty uneventful, but I love my simple life! Some people think I live this crazy life but I really don’t. I work out, I have a husband, I go to work, I eat dinner, and I do just about everything the same way most others do – I just have a few diaper change stops along the way! 🙂
